How we work
Find the problem. Build the fix. Hand it over.
Every engagement follows the same path, and the person who diagnoses the problem leads the work to resolve it.
How we start
Most revenue problems don't live in one system. They sit between them: where a customer signs up, how they're billed, how payment is collected, what happens when it fails, and what shows up in the books. So we don't start with a tool or a solution. We start by following how money actually moves through the business today, and we only recommend a change once we understand what it would fix and what it would cost.
How an engagement proceeds
Step 1: Diagnose
- What happens
- We walk through how revenue moves through the business — how customers join, what they're charged, how it's collected, what happens when something fails — across every system involved.
- What we need from you
- A walkthrough with the people who run it day to day, and read access to the relevant reports.
- What you get
- A written assessment: what's working, what isn't, what it's costing, and whether it's worth fixing.
- Who's involved
- Owner or executive sponsor, operations lead, and whoever handles the books.
Step 2: Design
- What happens
- We agree on the fix before anything is built: what changes, what stays, the order it happens in, and what it costs to run afterwards.
- What we need from you
- Review and approval of the plan.
- What you get
- A scoped plan with a fixed price and timeline, or a monthly scope when the work is ongoing.
- Who's involved
- The decision-maker, plus finance when cost or reporting changes.
Step 3: Build
- What happens
- We build and deploy in stages, so each change is live and verified before the next begins. Billing and payments keep running throughout.
- What we need from you
- One named person for approvals, and short check-ins at each stage.
- What you get
- Working systems in production.
- Who's involved
- Your operations lead and any vendors whose systems we connect to.
Step 4: Hand over
- What happens
- We document everything, train the people who'll run it, and set up monitoring so problems surface before customers notice them.
- What we need from you
- The people who'll own it, for a handover session.
- What you get
- Documentation, a trained team, and systems you can run without us. Ongoing support is available but never required.
- Who's involved
- Day-to-day operators and whoever owns the system going forward.
The cheapest fix first
Configure
Most problems are solved by changing how the software you already pay for is set up. We start there.
Connect
When configuration isn't enough, we connect the systems you have, so data moves once and the numbers agree.
Build
When connecting isn't enough, we build what's missing, and stay until it runs.
How we work with your team
You own everything
Accounts, data, and code are in your name, so there's no lock-in.
Compliance built in
Card data stays out of your systems wherever possible, access is limited to the people who need it, and every change is logged.
No reseller margin
We have no platform to place, so recommendations follow the numbers.
One lead throughout
The person who diagnoses the problem leads the fix and the handover.
Questions
Usually not. Most fixes start with the systems you already have.
