Ovalweb LLC (“Ovalweb,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Revenue Systems & Infrastructure Engineering firm based in San Francisco, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ovalweb.io, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you enter: your first and last name, email address, phone number, company, job title, and the contents of your message. If you subscribe to our updates, we collect the email address you provide.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you view, referring pages, and the date and time of your request. This data is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding aggregate traffic.

We do not ask for, and request that you do not send us, sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or passwords through this website.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about a potential or existing engagement
  • To schedule and conduct consultations, assessments, and project work
  • To send updates or written material you have asked to receive
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics profiling. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for the site to function. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent first.

How we share information

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors who host our website, deliver our email, or otherwise operate the site on our behalf, and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us
  • Legal requirements — when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ovalweb, our clients, or the public
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections described in this policy

Data retention

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, where an engagement follows, for as long as necessary to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. To make a request, email info@ovalweb.io. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the footer of any message we send.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion or correction of that information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Ovalweb does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise a request, contact us at the address above; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
